Cindy Morawski primarily paints with pastels. Born in Pennsylvania, she graduated from Slippery Rock University with a degree in education. Hiking and photography are hobbies that have influenced her perspective in painting. As a landscape painter, subjects from nature are her favorites. She has studied painting with Mary Lopez, Virginia Carruth, Lorenzo Chavez, and others. An outdoor enthusiast, Cindy tries to capture the light and colors of her subjects in her compositions.
Morawski currently resides in San Antonio, Texas, and is a charter member of the Texas Pastel Society, Coppini Academy of Fine Arts, River Art Group, San Antonio Visual Artists, New Braunfels Art League, and the Randolph Art League. Her work has been exhibited at Coppini Fine Arts, art shows in San Antonio and Austin, online galleries, Comfort Crockery, an art gallery in the Texas Hill Country, River Art Gallery in San Antonio's LaVillita, and in private collections. She also maintains a studio and gallery at home.
