Cindy Morawski primarily paints with pastels. Born in Pennsylvania, she graduated from Slippery Rock University with a degree in education. Hiking and photography are hobbies that have influenced her perspective in painting. Subjects from nature are her favorites. She has studied painting with Mary Lopez,
Virginia Carruth, Lorenzo Chavez, and others. An outdoor enthusiast, Cindy tries to capture the light and colors of her subjects in her compositions. Morawski currently resides in San Antonio, Texas, and is
a charter member in the Texas Pastel Society and a member of Coppini
Academy of Fine Arts. Her work has been exhibited at Coppini Fine Arts, art shows in the San Antonio community,
online galleries, Comfort Crockery, an art gallery in
the Texas Hill Country, and in private collections. She also maintains a studio at home and takes classes and workshops that help define her work as a pastelist.
